Our Privacy Policy

Who We Are

This website is operated by Polar Studios, the studio behind HashGuard. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Polar Studios. You can reach us at contact@polarstudios.fr.

Information We Collect

This website only collects what you choose to send us through its forms:

• Contact form: your name, your email address and the message you write.
• Waitlist form: your email address.

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect payment details here. Like any web server, our hosting provider may log technical data such as your IP address, the pages requested and your browser type to deliver and secure the site.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you send us for these purposes only:

1. Answering the messages you send through the contact form or by email.
2. Telling you when HashGuard access opens, if you joined the waitlist.
3. Keeping the website secure and working.

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles and we do not sell it.

Legal Basis

We handle your waitlist email because you asked us to by submitting the form, which is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time. We handle your contact message because you asked us a question and expect an answer.

Cookies and Analytics

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Pages load the Inter Tight and Rethink Sans typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers to download them.

Who Receives Your Information

We do not sell or rent your information. Service providers that host this website, deliver email or store form submissions may process it on our behalf, only to provide those services. We also disclose information when the law requires it.

How Long We Keep It

We keep contact messages for as long as needed to answer you and follow up. We keep waitlist emails until we have finished the launch announcements or until you ask us to remove them. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your information, to correct or erase it, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw your consent. Write to contact@polarstudios.fr and we will answer. You can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the CNIL in France.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new date, so please review it now and then.
